Jaqueline Garcia Castillo is the Founder and Executive Director of Mujer al Volante, Superacion Constante, a non-profit organization established in 2013. Jaqueline is also an international motivational speaker and conferencist. She likes to read, listen to podcasts, and has her own podcast to create awareness about gender violence and domestic violence. Jaqueline enjoys ballroom dancing, particularly swing and salsa, and loves to motivate women, especially those who have survived abusive marriages.
Jaqueline’s personal journey as a low-income immigrant woman from Michoacan, Mexico, motivated her to create Mujer al Volante to help immigrant mothers overcome challenges related to obtaining driver’s licenses. She founded the organization because she did not have a driver’s license and was in a difficult situation facing gender violence. Her personal experiences with domestic violence, low income, being a first-time mother, and lacking independence or access to money led her to help other women navigate similar challenges. Jaqueline is dedicated to providing opportunities for women and helping them take the steering wheel of their lives, advocating for their rights and emphasizing entrepreneurship and community collaboration. Under her leadership, Mujer al Volante has served over 1,000 women from multiple nationalities and languages, empowering them towards self-sufficiency.
Jaqueline’s greatest achievement in life is her family, consisting of her son, partner, and their dog. Jaqueline also enjoys her free time creating social media posts and content about personal growth, domestic violence awareness, and motivational messages to women.
